The Enterprise G

     The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-G), formerly the USS Titan (NCC-80102-A), was a Federation Constitution III-class starship operated by Starfleet in the 24th and 25th centuries.

Previously the fourth Starfleet vessel to bear the name Titan, the second to bear the NCC-80102 registry, she was rechristened, during the rebuilding of Starfleet following the Borg takeover of 2401, as the eighth Federation starship to bear the name Enterprise in honor of the command crew of the USS Enterprise-D who had stopped the Borg takeover.

The Enterprise D

    The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) was a 24th century Federation Galaxy-class starship operated by Starfleet, and the fifth Federation starship to bear the name Enterprise. During its career, the Enterprise served as the Federation flagship and was in service from 2363 to 2371 when it was destroyed during the Battle of Veridian III.

During the Changeling/Borg threat of 2401, the rebuilt Enterprise was pressed back into service by her old command crew and flown from the Fleet Museum, where it was stored at the time.
