The Facts of Life aired for nine seasons from August 24, 1979 to May 7, 1988. In the final episode, the girls end up going their own ways: Blair is headmistress at Eastland, Tootie is off to acting school in London, Natalie has moved to SoHo to pursue her writing career, and Jo’s husband Rick returns from his European tour to start their married lives.
